To promote the well-being of all refugees and asylum seekers on the island of Chios by providing them with clothing, hygiene products, and kindness.
Our Guiding Principles
We believe that all human beings are created equal in their dignity, rights, and humanity. We treat asylum seekers, refugees, and all people in accordance with this belief. We do not claim to provide dignity to anyone, as a person’s dignity has nothing to do with the clothes they wear but everything to do with their existence as a human being on this planet. We are guided by the conviction that human rights are indivisible and that any restriction of the rights of individuals calls into question the rights of all.
We hold the conviction that we as citizens of Europe cannot wait for politicians or large institutions in the current emergency, but must take responsibility ourselves.
We also have the determination to demonstrate that one can never do “absolutely nothing” and that even individual actions can mean the world to individual people.
